We're
right in the heart of one of South Australia's premier wine regions
set amongst the lush vines of our wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon, surrounded
by our other varieties of Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay and Zinfandel.
View a map of how to find us.
In the rustic self-contained cottage, renovated from an old dairy
in 1994, you have two charming bedrooms, each with a queen
size bed and a single bed, a large living and dining area, one bathroom,
and all the comforts of home. Relax within, enjoying sole occupancy
and the peace and tranquility amidst the vines.
Fresh Peechabella flowers add to the appeal; a happy mix of colour
and fragrance for the living areas, delicately perfumed roses in
the bedroom, a hint of lavender or mint for the bathroom. Our award
winning gardens enhance your experience! The sense of country living
here envelopes you from your arrival until your departure and stays
with you as you journey further.
Breakfast is your choice - to breakfast or not to breakfast! We
can supply provisions of either continental, or a full breakfast,
or none, whichever you prefer. Gourmet dinners and 'you-cook' dinner
packs can be delivered on site if booked beforehand.
Take long, leisurely walks on the vineyard. There's abundant birdlife
and the warm sense of history and belonging. Be aware that as we
are a working vineyard, at times large machinery will be in operation.
On the vineyard, this working machinery has right of way.
Visit the local famous wineries - there's quite a few within a
short drive, and we're only a mere 15 kilometres away (9 miles)
from Strathalbyn, the antiques capital of South Australia. Here
you leave the city bustle behind at Peechabella, although our state's
lovely capital city, Adelaide is about an hour's drive from here.
We try to meet and greet you (from check-in time) at 2.30pm until
about 4pm but if you can't make it by then, we'll make sure you
know your way around.
Peechabella Vineyards Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to share
its serene haven - we hope to see you soon.
